I discovered that the Accord has a feature with the V-Tec that is very cool. It's not just fast but it is very reliable vehicle compare with most of the vehicle I've seen. Now, mine is 85,000 miles. The engine is still running as a champ. I am thinking when it is getting older I will trade it in for another new Accord. With two generations of Ford and I had switched into a Honda. I am very happy with it and I will come back to it again when this Accord is getting older. Best regard, Tony
I am agreed with him. I got a brand new Accord 2009 after I traded in with my Explorer 2004. I have to tell you that there is nothing a Ford can be compared with an Accord. From the beginning, I could not feel so comfortable in an Accord because the noise and the vibration of the way Honda designed it. But late on, I have been getting used with it since. Right before I actually picked up this vehicle, I had tested drive many different brands from Fusion, Malibu, Voltwagen, Camry, and others.
I love my 2008 fit , the biggest thing I wish is a little more power, and a 6th gear for the highway. Wider wheels and better tires I can do anytime.
I might...might trade it for the 2nd generation Fit... it has little things that make it a bit nicer than the original, but again still needs 6th gear.
It's beeen on my short list for some time....does everything well....just misssing a sixth speed for the highway and a few extra horsepower just like he says...after 6min...hear him say he would get Fiesta ST replacement for the fit but is actually looking for a Focus ST ...and I was shopping for them yesterday...for tthe ssound....Ford calls it a symphony
I've had my new fit sport for over a year now and honestly I'm probably gonna have it until the wheels fall off. There's been lotta complaints about cabin noise, but really if your looking for an imperfection your gonna find it. I have two kids that I take on road trips with and they can't seem to stay awake inside the fit. Once the windows are rolled up, it's like a soundproof studio inside, not extremely quiet but you can hear yourself think.
Truer words never spoken. Ford is better than it was..but time after time Ive seen family buy brand new Jap cars vs domestic and after 5 years the jap cars are running perfect and the domestic has TONS of problems and the resale is crap.
Katzkin leather on a fit? For a few bucks more you could have gotten a 2013 Accord Sport 6mt which is such a better value with feature content, quiet interior, BIGGER interior, and looks. I like the fit and all but spending 2,000 to drop leather in a fit? crazy!
The fit does get 40 mpg hwy. stop believing the sticker. Trust me u will avg mid 30 s mg without trying.

The biggest drawback for the fit is the gas mileage. An engine that anemic should get way better gas mileage. Even my 2007 Civic got 40 highway.
