No no kev were the lab from someone who worked in broadcasting at an NBC here in mass trust me lol were the lab we still get the point I would much rather here you !
Great review. I'm glad you didn't dwell too much on all the electronic nonsense they're putting on cars these days. I think the new Accord and CRV have stopped the trend of manufacturers (including Honda) cutting corners on their redesigns to allow for more gadgetry.
I agree, the sport that they are referring to (Honda) is it's just sporty looking with 18" wheels, tail fin and suspension and dual exhaust. Other than that it is the same accord minus the upgraded features. For me the look is more important than the upgraded features that I could live without. I just with Honda gave more options when ordering a base model.
I test drove an LX when they first came out and the only thing that bothered me was when descending hills that there was a lack of engine braking with the CVT. I felt I had to use the brakes to control the speed of the car. Has anyone else experienced this? I currently drive an 06 Accord EXL V-6 coupe with a 6 speed manual. I guess that is why I prefer a manual over an automatic because you can control the car better with gear selection.
Drive an Accord Sport & Accord EX back to back & you will see a difference between the two trims. The steering in the Accord Sport is "heavier", the ride is firmer. than in the EX.
I bought my 2013 Honda accord sport metallic gray about a month ago and I absolutely love it. Its quick and amazing on gas. I am so happy I purchased the vehicle over a Nissan altima or a camy se
Mazda6 looks better but that's pretty much the only place the Mazda beats the Accord. Accord drives so much better, it's much more confident on the road.
I just bought the 13 accord sport for my daily commuter and I'm impressed with the car for $24k. I come from driving BMW, Audi and Land Rover and currently have a 335i, so when I got this car for commuting daily and plain and simple beat around without worries for the next 5 years, I was expecting a degrading driving experience. This Accord is definitely the best ride from its competitors as a package, not bad at all as commuter even when compared to my BMW.
I'm not a fan of the different microphone setup. It just makes your voice harder to hear over road noise. If we want to compare road noise, we'll take a test drive and decide for ourselves. Your video just has this drone throughout it because of that noise being picked up by the mic.
Lav I mean lav gezz I hate this spell check on my phone lol

ОтветитьУдалитьI drove the Accord Sport with the CVT. Didn't like it and won't buy one. Honda needs to go back to a conventional transmission. No CVT for ME!!

ОтветитьУдалитьIt should be that. I have the same car and there is not noise in the cabin.
ОтветитьУдалитьI wonder if alot of that noise heard in the video is just the a/c or heater fan blowing on the mic?

ОтветитьУдалитьKevin... You look like Jack Bauer in this video. Your voice is starting to sound like him too.
