I just bought this same gun 9/23/13 got on mag with it and bought to more. the gun was $650 and each extra mag was ~$12 with tax and so on. All and all I was in $680 Its a really great gun for the money.
The M&P 15 Sport is a very fine preppers rifle! If your a range rat or a professional operator your going to want something a little more beefy. The Sport is the perfect preppers/bug out rifle. I wouldn't hesitate to own one. I have an M&P 15 ORC with an Eotech on it, but as an LEO it's expected to be a little more durable.
Well I am a techie too (Apple and Microsoft certified and manage a large network) and I would say that the main benefit of an apple product is it's ease of use and so a novice is precisely the person who would benefit most from it.
So I guess Boy Scouts must be a bunch of paranoid kids as well. Boy Scout motto...Be Prepared! Prepping is just an adult version of what Scouts do...being prepared. Some do go a bit over the top but each person preps the way he or she sees fit and it's not always because govt. storm troopers may come marching in. Think hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, wild fires, etc. Bet a lot of people in NY whish they had prep'd for Hurricane Sandy...what a cluster it was there!
I had a few friends that said the same thing. had no idea that it causes issues. i've never been over there in country, so i have no idea if they used it or not. i heard they wont let you guys have aftermarket mags over there.
pc or a mac lol a personal computer can be a mac most of what you said makes no sense get to the point bro.. write down what you want to say bro trust me you need it.. & do your research please
Been watching your vids for a while but I didn't know you lived in Memphis. I'm just across the river in Arkansas. I've been looking into getting an M&P15. I'm glad I ran across your video.
There is no need to worry about your Magpul MBUS sight breaking. That are made out of the same polymer material that the pmag is made of so it is pretty damn tough.
Just to let you know, I paid $820 a couple of years ago for a Stag Model 1 with a dust cover, forward eject, milspec, chrome lined, heavier barrel compared to the thinner barrel of the mp sport.
I've had mine for a couple of years now, and I love it. Shoots whatever I feed it. Never had the need for a forward assist. I also shoot wolf with no problems. Its a well built gun. I also have read in many differant articles that melonite has a lower friction coefficient than chrome.
This gun has no forward assist or dust cover, despite this I bought it and came to regret it. I experienced many failure to feeds and failure to eject with numerous brands of 5.56 and .223. I tried a pmag as well as a surplus stanag mag. Gun was a total lemon. I traded to my local gun shop who ended up sending it back to smith and wesson for repair after unsuccessfully trying to get it to run right.
I removed the front post sight on my M&P15 Sport, but it's not easy. Took a Dremel and a good steel cutting wheel to get it off. The problem is that the post is pressed in place on the barrel, which makes replacing the post/gas block a bit tricky. I went through 3 different gas blocks before I found one that would clamp in place properly. I ended up with a Yankee Hill Machine block/flip up sight that works perfectly.
That's not entirely true. AR bolts have a grooved cut-out (scallop) that was originally designed to do the job of the forward assist. Just put your finger on the BCG cut-out and push it forward until it clicks. Stoner thought of everything.
They are not paranoid nor weak. They are very aware of the possibilities of something happening whether it be an economic collapse, natural disaster, or an epidemic. All of which have happened before and it is better to be safe than sorry.
Your some kind of an idiot...do you honestly think this country can sustain much more of this president who is working feverishly to collapse our economy and when that happens ...what do you think will happen...wake up pal its coming
preppers are paranoid weak people are are VERY unhappy and angry and don't know how else to deal with it other than imagine society breaking down and them being able to shoot people. Only under these circumstances are they able to feel confident and sucessfull
It's nice to know there is at least one sane prepper.

ОтветитьУдалитьRead some professional magazine reviews for the rifle. Most say that they've really dirtied it up, and no port cover didn't really matter.
ОтветитьУдалитьNo ejection port cover? I can deal with no forward assist, but no ejection port cover? I'll pass
