I recently played against some kids from China, immigrants at my college. They all had experience. Nothing I could do as a man would allow me to beat even the less skilled female players.
I play at a high (or at least higher) level and I definitely don't use my ears to judge spin. I think players mostly look at racket angle and ball rotation.
Sorry to completely disagree, this guy is saying that returning a table tennis ball at 70mph is comparable to returning a tennis ball at 150mph, because a tennis table is much shorter than a tennis court. Even though reaction times might be comparable he is not considering the capabilities of the human eye is much more difficult to see something moving at 150mph than at 70mph. Most people don't even see a tennis ball moving at a 150mph.
it is bullshit the width of the tramlines of a tennis court is 4 n a half feet and the width of a table tennis table is 5 feet, therefore the width of the table tennis table should be wider than the tramlines. clearly it is not in that diagram

True! I have played a bunch and won a lot of matches thru the US! The very best matches I've ever had were for fun.:)
